MINTURN, Colo.—Utah's Guro Jordheim and Colorado's Magnus Boee won the classic races on the first Nordic day of completion at the Denver Invitational on Saturday.
Utah holds a 66-point lead in the team standings over second-place Colorado going into Sunday's freestyle races.
The DU Invite closes with a pursuit freestyle race, with starting times determined based on finish times in today's race. The men's 10-km race begins at 9 a.m. with the women's 7.5-km race to follow.
