ASPEN, Colo. —Colorado's Mikaela Tommy and Westminster's Mikkel Solbakken won the RMISA Aspen giant slalom qualifiers on Friday afternoon to open the 2020 season.
Tommy has won four career collegiate races. Solbakken was making his collegiate debut for the Griffins.
The Denver Invitational starts with the giant slalom on Saturday and follows with the slalom on Sunday.
